BMW has an off-road style symbolizing BMW Motorrad’s brand and announced the new “BMW G 310 GS”.

This is a completely new light motorcycle with under 400cc capacity, and the second model of BMW Motorrad’s G series.

It has a 313 cc water-cooled single cylinder engine in a sporty design of a traditional off-road style that has created the BMW Motorrad brand.
The characteristic design that rotated the direction of the cylinder head of the engine by 180 degrees makes it a low center of gravity close to the front wheel and realizes agile and highly controllable traveling.

The color has three colors Racind Red, Cosmic black, Pearl white metallic. The manufacturer suggested retail price is 669,900 yen (tax included).

The new BMW G 310 GS features a sporty individuality as a BMW off-road style, with an aggressively designed front fender extending sharply from under the front light and a rear end located at the same high position.

The seat position is placed at a position where the rider doesn’t get tired easily based on ergonomics, the footrests and switches are placed with an emphasis on operability, so that regardless of the physical size, it makes relaxing comfortable riding possible.

In addition, in the water-cooled single cylinder engine with a displacement of 313 cc, the direction of the cylinder head is rotated 180 degrees, and the intake is arranged so that the intake is on the front side and the exhaust is on the rear side. With this characteristic arrangement, air is linearly supplied to the combustion chamber, and high running performance is exhibited.

In addition, since the center of gravity goes down and becomes closer to the front wheel, it achieves dynamic driving with a very light dry weight of about 169.5 kg.

In terms of function, the wheel sensor is equipped with 2-channel BMW Motorrad ABS that operates by measuring the rotational speeds of the front wheels and the rear wheels as standard, and supports rider safe driving. Since it is also possible to turn off the ABS with operation buttons, it is a model with diversity that can fully enjoy off road driving.
