Make the OEM type upright fork have OHLINS performance ability

OHLINS has announced that they will be releasing the “FKS Series Cartridge Kit” in July.

The OEM Upright fork of the middle class motorcycles normally do not have preload adjustment function, let alone damping force adjustment. What upgrades it to have a performance level of an OHLINS high-end front fork is this FKS Series Cartridge Kit.

It is widely applicable to models such as HONDA CBR250R/300R, KAWASAKI Ninja 250/300, YAMAHA R25/R3/ MT-03, or MT-07/XSR700.

Mounts the Newly Developed NIX22 Cartridge

“NIX” places the cartridge that generates one way damping force, compression or rebound, to its left and right fork individually. From the riders’ point of view, the left side produces the compression damping force and the right side produces the rebound damping force.

Adjustments are consolidated at the top cap. The center adjusts the damping force in 20 levels, and the circumference adjusts the spring preload. Since the damping force pattern is integrated in one direction, the damping characteristics will be more accurate and high-level.

An exclusive spring that matches the riders’ body weight (separately sold)

They also offer exclusive springs, designed by model, with spring rates that match the riders’ body weight. The spring rates (or the body weight of the rider) are to be specified when ordering the cartridge kit.
