On 2nd September 2016, SUZUKI Motors will be releasing 4Stroke Motorcrosser RM-Z250/RM-Z450 as 2017 Models.

The two 2017 models feature new graphic designs and new wheel colors.
The black and yellow colors of the Filter Cover and Side Number Plate are vice versa from the 2016 Model.
Wheels have been modified from silver to black giving it a smart style.

Main Characteristics of RM-Z250

Equipped with a new mechanism that offers holeshot and top end by switching on travelling mode at start. The new mechanism was achieved from feedback achieved from factory machines.
Modes can be chosen from A, B and Off. Devided after start the three modes will offer optimization in each step.

KYB PSF2 Air Suspension
The front fork is equipped with the latest KYB Air Fork System PSF2 (Newmatic Spring Fork2).
Weight of the spring has been dramatically reduced compared to standard metal springs and by adjusting air pressure with air pumps, it will enable speedy setting that match your taste.
Due to the expansion of the cylinder, damper response and performance has improved offering easy steering. The Damping Force Adjust Mechanism will correspond to conditions of the road surface with adjustable low-speed range/high speed range on the rebound side and one section on the compression side.

KYB New Rear Shock
The rear shock is equipped with the new KYB Rear Shock with Integral Adjust System.
Due to the collective structure, adjustments can easily be made on both rebound side and compression side at high/low speed.

The weight of the main frame has been reduced and rigidity has been optimized to improve cornering performance.
The steering head pipe has been redesigned with the same size as the RM-Z450 to optimize the rib layout inside the pivot part. The new joint section below the bottom frame has 2.5% reduced weight compared to standard frames.

SHOWA SFF-AIR Suspension
The SFF Air Suspension has been tested and improved to be adopted. Instead of metal springs air springs are installed to offer dramatically light weight and brilliant maintenance.
The fork is separated into 3 structures; Inner Air Room, Outer Air Room and Air Balance Room to control expansion of the front fork, reduce friction and improve mobility. Spring rate can be adjusted precisely for each room using an air pump. This has made settings much easier without receiving the effect of damper heat.

Main Frame with Optimized Weight and Rigidity
The weight of the main frame has been reduced and rigidity has been optimized to improve cornering performance.
Together with the SFF Air Suspension, the main frame will absorb shocks from rough road surfaces, stabilize cornering and offer flexible rides through tough situations.
