This year’s last oversea competition trip was France for stunt contest called Ouest Bike show. This contest is the biggest prize money around the world and many high level professional riders come and the most important contest for me too.

After the flight from Japan , I arrived Paris airport. First I took high speed train called TGV like Japanese Shinkansen to Lyon and then Julien came to pick me up at the Lyon station.

After movement , I prepared my bike for the contest. When I came last time in July , its front fork was broken, so I changed them to new one brought form Japan and did other many fixing task.

This trouble is a sign that inner tube is almost broken. I have same trouble 4 times, and its front fork has been broken in Japan.

Next day of preparation of my bike , We left for Nantes with Julien and Kevin from Lyon.

Trip distance was about 700km. Very far from Lyon.

After 7 hours driving , we arrived at the event place. Team Freegun made a booth in front of FREEGUN’s big arch because 3 of us are official Freegun athletes. And Freegun sponsored this event.

A lot of crowds were there. I had tried many stunt contests around the world but this event held the biggest crowd I’ve ever seen.

This contest has 2 qualifications , Semi Final and Final.
Only top 10 rider can ride in the Final. This picture’s night run was 2nd qualification. Night run looks so cool for the crowd. but it is different from riders.

To ride in night is very hard because of lost balance than daytime riding. And one of French rider made a big crash and got big injury.
Night run looks good for the event and audience but needs to be considered its safe.

This is top 10 finalist (Polish , Czech Republic , France , Japan).

My final run’s result was 4th place exactly same point with Roamin Jeandrot!! And This result made me so happy because this contest is the highest level in the world. I think this contest is a kind of the world championship now. Next year , I will try to take podium place!!

And I could make bunny hop 360 to Wheelie and my original trick Flaming bunny hop 360!! Both of them are so difficult trick and there are only a few riders that make these trick in competition around the world stunt scene. Especially Flaming bunny hop 360, I’m the only rider can make it around the world and it’s the original signature trick.

After the contest , I had to go Vierzon with Romain Jeandrot for back to Paris by Train. After 3 hours driving , we arrived Romain’s house and took a short sleep.

This is very strong dog Heros. I love him!!
But sometimes he was too much strong for skin ship, Very powerful dog.

Next day’s early morning we headed for Vierzon Station to go to Paris.

This is High speed train I took. After arriving at center of Paris , I got subway and went to airport. After that I could come back to Japan safely by airplane.　It was very difficult to buy ticket at the subway station in Paris.

So , this trip was the this last competition in this year.
I could try some competitions in Europe with many support. Sometime with French friends , sometimes with SPONSORS. I guess , I could not try these challenges without sponsors’s support and friends’s help!! Thank you for support and everything!! Really thank you very much!!

I will back Europe next year too!!
