It mounted the newly designed CVT engine which was water-cooled, 4-stroke, 155cm³, single-cylinder, 4-valve, and fuel injection type. While sticking with vibration reduction, it achieved 11kW (15PS) maximum output and had productive torque characteristics to make the bike drive in a sporty manner. Its excellent fuel efficiency contributed to its evaluation of environmental performance too.

It adopted the “Progressive Pivot Mount”, same as MAJESTY (YP250), which was based on YAMAHA’s original anti-vibration theory. You could have direct operation feeling, for it used a direct suspension and not an anti-vibration link. This structure produced more space around the rear body, to broaden the storage and lower the seat. The rear suspension adopted “Mid-ship Damper (mono-cross suspension)” to improve space efficiency. It also upgraded its road surface follow-up property.

It adopted hydraulic disc type brake for the front and rear which excelled at operability. The wave shaped 267mm diameter front disc demonstrated excellent maneuverability along with the opposed piston, and supported the comfortable drive feeling along with the 245mm diameter rear disc. It mounted stable 13-inch wheels and exclusively designed tires that had high gripping ability. Its excellent rigidity balance contributed to the sporty drive feeling on street roads, for it had wide contact area and enabled stable handle operation.

The main seat was designed for free driving position, for the seat was fully extended to the rear. The flat foot space was designed for easy boarding and descending. It had a comfortable tandem seat that had a relaxing cushion.

There was a luxurious LED position lamp on its front. By unifying the design of the headlight, the position lamp, and the flasher, it added the dynamic and high quality image to the bike. Also, a line of LED lights formed the tail light to make it have an impressive image.

The front oil filling port was placed to improve the maneuverability. It also equipped a 2.7L front pocket which could even store a 500ml plastic bottle, and an aluminum convenient hook that was movable. A key shutter that prevented pranks to the key hole or thefts was placed.

It had enough space under the seat to store a full face helmet and a rain wear simultaneously. The automatic opening function of the seat which was connected with the movement of the main switch was also easy to use.
