The MY2007 YZ250 had its front fork outer tube optimized to increase its rigidity balance. The tip of the inner tube was hollowed to reduce its weight. It was reset after that change was made to make the maneuvering light. It featured the pro-taper aluminum handlebar (same as the ones of YZ450F/250F), and placed aluminum parts to places like the damper adjusting screws of the rear shock absorber. It also changed the shape of the bolt heads of various parts to reduce the vehicle weight.
