Difficulty of installation - The installation of the knock pin is an simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Common sense and the use of your hands is all that is required to clean the mating surface and press the knock pin into place. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products K-Pit sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the knock pin is no different. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the knock pin, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. I cannot believe how easy this tool made the crankshaft installation
About quality and texture - The crankshaft assembly tool from Kitaco is made from a heavy duty steel and with an oxide coated surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - I cannot believe how easy this tool made the crankshaft installation. Simple to use with basic hand tools and sustained no damage to the crankshaft or tool itself, so will able to be used again and again for the future engine builds that I have lined up. Products to buy together - A key product to purchase that will allow for removal of the crankshaft at home is a crankcase splitter tool, it is designed to pull the crankcases apart and can also be used to push the crankshaft out of the crankcase. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the crankshaft assembly tool is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to secure the crankshaft assembly tool between the crankshaft and crankcase. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Kitaco sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but this is not the case the crankshaft assembly tool as it is more on par but specific for the Honda Grom and not a universal tool, which is great. First time I've used it.
I have been adjusting the Tappet on this type of Honda quite often, but I have never used this type of tool before, so I bought it to try it out.
I use it on my race car and it helps me cool down the Engine between practices and make quick adjustments.
I regret not having used it before! I didn't think so, but it is so useful that it has become a regular in my tool box.

About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the material used is NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) which is a synthetic rubber resistant to fuel and oil. About the feeling of use, This o-ring is preformed so easily fits the 4 valve inspection cover which is handly as it could be difficult to fit due to the covers unusual shape. Products to buy together, To lessen the likelihood of damaging the covers sealing surface if using incorrect tooling if would be ideal to add a set of o-ring picks to your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of this inspection cover o-ring was very easy due to the simple nature of the install and easy access to the cover and its four bolts. Having the o-ring shaped specially for this cover is a massive help too. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive a o-ring made from a quality material that is durable for it's environment and similar to other special o-rings like this. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 24 hours of the product being in stock and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. Replacement O-ring for the 4-Valve Head Tappet Cover on the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the inspection cover O-ring from SP Takegawa. Made from a soft flexible rubber to help create a good seal, this is a single O-Ring for the tappet cover. About the feeling of use: The O-ring is shaped perfectly and fits easily into the tappet cover and once torqued down have zero oil leaks. Products to buy together: A tappet adjustment wrench would also be desirable to purchase along side the inspection cover O-ring as these covers are removed regularly for valve clearance checks and adjustments on the 4-valve head. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 5 minutes, undo the allen key fasteners for the tappet cover and use an O-ring pick tool to remove the old O-rings so to not damage the cover. Lubricate the new O-ring with engine oil, fit to the cover and torque down the allen key fasteners to 6 Nm. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality O-ring that is specifically designed and shaped for the SP Takegawa 4-valve head that is not available for any other source. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. About the feeling of use: The previous owner had significantly over tightened the crankshaft cap and damaged the O-Ring, the K-Pit O-Ring fitted perfectly with zero leaks. Products to buy together: The timing hole cap O-Ring from K-Pit would also be desirable to purchase along side this crankshaft hole cap O-Ring as they are ideal to replace together after you have finished checking your valve clearances. Difficulty of installation: The process to install just takes a few minutes, remove the crankshaft hole cap, be sure to discard the old O-Ring as they can remain in the hole on the engine case and then fit your new O-Ring that has been lubricated lightly with engine oil. Do not over tighten the plug as the manual only calls out for 8 N.m. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality part from K-Pit that was in stock and ready to ship unlike the Honda O-Ring but the K-Pit O-Ring is slightly more expensive. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the crankshaft assembly tool from Kitaco, made from steel with a durable coating and comprises of three parts to the tool. About the feeling of use: Used successfully to install the crankshaft into the right side crankcase and I don't see an easier way for this to accomplished at home. Products to buy together: Many of the Kitaco tools like the flywheel puller and the center lock nut wrench would also be desirable to purchase along side the crankshaft assembly tool. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes just a few minutes, install the spacer over the shaft, thread the adapter onto the shaft and then the nut onto the adapter and you are ready to start pulling the crankshaft through. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving a quality tool that will save you the cost of a visit to the local workshop with no other brands offering this tool for the Grom specifically.
