Black cover
The Cover I was using was getting old, so I was looking for a new one, and I bought this one because the ratings were not bad and the price was not that high.
Black looks good. Functionally, it is normal and usable.
The Seat that comes with the product is attached to a place near the Exhaust System where it comes in contact with the Exhaust System. I wonder what it is….

YOSHIMURA style?
I don't know the sound of the YOSHIMURA of the time, and the KZ1000 is a race car, so it It is naturally quieter than "is a racing exclusive parts.

I replaced a Rubber that probably had never been replaced since it was born.
Just by getting on the footpeg, the squishy feeling is gone and I can step on it firmly.
I am happy with the footpeg position back to normal. I'm already using Quantity:2pc. I am going to buy a Set and replace the Rubber on the Right Sidefootpeg as well.

Reduced embrittlement during deceleration
When decelerating during cornering, the rear wheels often locked up lightly when the vehicle went down to a lower gear.

Be careful when using OEMTail lens
When we contacted the Manufacturer, we were told that there is no Release for Lens case only, so we are not able to get the Quantity:Set purchased. (OEM inventory is currently unavailable)
It has an internal reflector and a grounding wire (which is not included in most Universal Products), and it is a good product, but the details are not well made. This may be due to individual differences in production lots.
I would like to see at least an insulated Cover on Bullet Type Terminal. It is Large strange to put it in afterwards.
Lens is not similar to OEM.
Reflector is totally different from OEM in structure and reflectivity, only on Lens side and Reflector doesn't pass EURO standard?
Tail appears to be small when seen from a distance, coupled with the slightly darker red color. This image is a little too small.
For these reasons, Lens wanted to use OEM, but it does not match Case.
This is also the case with other Universal Products, where the circumference of the Lens end is one size smaller than that of the OEMLens.

Oil leakage here is like a chronic disease of the old Z series, so I hope that this part will be released for a long time.

It is quite difficult to remove the hardened and deteriorated tubular seal.
Don't worry about it falling apart, just do your best to get it off.
You will see a reinforcing loop of Gold at the end of the collapse. Grab it and pull it out with all your might.
Apply silicon grease or engine oil before inserting the seal. If the seal is too tight and you can't get it all the way in, change to a large seal.
To avoid difficulties like mine, I recommend replacing them as soon as possible after they start leaking.

I had a hard time deciding between this and the 3 cm long D company, but this was the only one in stock, so I decided to go with this one.
As a result, my Z-chan has Oil cooler (6 steps) and also MeterUp, so 5cm Long was just right.
I had forgotten about this because it is not an item that is rarely attached or detached, but when attaching the upper (meter side) mounting nut, use tape or something to stop it from slipping off. If it falls off, it will be very troublesome.

[How is it used?
I am using it with YOSHIMURA Temp meterPROGRESS1 on XJR400R.
Since this is an air-cooled 4-engine motorcycle, I thought it would be better to have a clear view of the oil temperature, so I installed this system.
I thought it would be useful in many ways to record the condition of the vehicle at that time, especially in the summer when there is an extreme power drop timing when riding all the time.
Was the one you received as per Image?
I had seen the actual product several times at the supply store, so it was as per Image.
One thing I was worried about until I bought it was the bolt system, the OEMDrain bolt was 17mm but this one was 19mm.
I wanted to buy the Sensor socket together, but there was no mention of it, so I had to do it twice.
Was the installation difficult?
In the case of XJR400R, it is easy as just replacing with OEMDrain bolt.
However, this product itself is an Aluminum Bolt, so Torque management must be done well.
The OEM drain bolt was 43 Nm, but I tightened it at 25 Nm just to be safe, and so far no leakage.
How was your experience with it?
The oil temperature is safely measured.
I checked on the Net and found that Wiring can be cut off.
It is true that it is very close to the ground near the Drain bolt, and it is likely to be hit by stones, etc., but I feel that this is not the case.

The performance etc. is perfect, but I dislike the anodized color.
I think there are many vehicles that do not MATCH as they are quite noticeable in Red.

Essentials when replacing Sprocket
I use it all the time when replacing ChainSprocket.
I tighten the DriveSprocket with pure STD nut without using lock nut, but if you use this lock washer and bend it neatly, the nut will not come off or loosen so easily.
Naturally, each time the Sprocket is replaced, the lock washer is also replaced with a new one.

Reliable SUNSTAR
I have used Sprocket of other Manufacturers, but I think the durability, quality and MADE IN SUNSTAR is the best.
It was removed after about 20,000 km for chain conversion from 630 to 530, but it is still usable with no large wear.
Other companies sell inexpensive Sprocket, but considering durability, I choose MADE IN SUNSTAR even if it costs more than other companies.
In case you are wondering, the Chain is made by DID and the Sprocket is MADE IN SUNSTAR, and this combination is the best I have ever seen.
