6VMONKEY Maintenance Shift Arm Part Oil Seal
6VMONKEY Oil leakage from the oil seal of the change shift pedal gradually became a concern, so we replaced it.
The procedure is
(1) Apply a slotted screwdriver to the outer circumference of the oil seal currently installed and tap it to the center. (This work is important in case of sticking)
Screw the screw into the oil seal installed.
(3) Slowly pull out the Screw with pliers.
The oil seal of ShiftChange Pedal is thicker than other oil seals, so if the above method is also difficult, tear off the rubber around the shaft and pull out the gold part of the oil seal with radio pliers!
insertion
I used PVC pipe over a moderate flat washer.

It purchased to the Maintenances of the MONKEY which passed for 15 years.
Although the Oil seal of the Shift-arm part was exchanged for the first time, the method of removing an old Oil seal was not found well, but troubles were suffered dramatically.
the
instruction manual is natural one which is, and explains the exchange method in as by entering a figure -- if it attaches, I will think that it is better.
We recommend you for the direction where it will be exchanged from now on to work, after often investigating how to remove in a Net etc. in advance.
I think that exchanging before becoming serious oil leakage is safe as for such portions of an old car body.
