Reliable Air Filter
I had neglected to replace it because it is a part that is not easily visible, but I replaced it for the first time in a very long time.
For the first time in 20,000 km.
The XL1200N was so easy as far as replacement was concerned that the job was completed in about 10 minutes.
I would like to replace them regularly from now on, as they are easy to replace with just one tool.

The standard k&n
I was concerned about the jitteriness when returning Throttle at low speed low GEAR, so intake Custom.
The problem is that the intake system is not as good as the exhaust system, but there are no options for the exhaust system customization for the vstr650.
In fact, it was not as effective as I had hoped for in improving the jitteriness at low speeds, which was my initial goal.
However, the throttle response has been improved and mid-range acceleration has been improved, resulting in very smooth acceleration, which is good.
In addition, the work is very Large. The work is very large and the cost is very high.
I think spTadao's PowerPipe is out of my purpose&I decided not to use it this time because I wanted to make it easy to customize, but you may want to consider it in terms of the hassle of working with it.
Incidentally, I managed to remove the Tank with the Engine Guard still attached.

New Screw holes need to be drilled!
CBR600RR (BC-PC37) It was used on a 2003 Japanese specification.
The air cleanerBody is held in place by two claws and three screws.
However, as for MinusPoint, the screw hole in the middle of the Air cleanerBody was gapped about 5mm in front, so I re-drilled the hole and fixed it myself.
I think it is well made because it is called "YOSHIMURA".

I don't see the difference.
Replaced by DAYTONA Filter
I chose this one because it is wet type and can be used repeatedly after washing and applying oil.
I'm glad it wasn't a collaboration model with YOSHIMURA, though.
Collaboration model was cheaper.
The difference is, I don't know.

K&N:Filter cleaner
K&N:Filter oil
K&N:Sealing Grease
K&N:Replacement air filter
Other famous examples would be Twin air....
We chose K&N because we had been using K&N even when we were in ESTRELLA, and because the Sponge-type filters do not change in appearance from NORMAL.
For installation at the time of purchase, the Filter is already soaked with Oil, so there is no need to soak it anew.
Remove the Bracket for the lock and replace the Filter.
Apply Sealing Grease to the oval intake area between the Motorcycle and Filter to improve adhesion.
Put the lid on and attach the Seal to complete the process!
There are many people who have installed Diaphragm Pump and Solenoid Valve to improve the intake efficiency of WR250X, but I think that there are many people like me who are hesitant to install a custom system that cannot be undone.
If you really want to, why not just remove this lid?
Then if I don't get the results I want, I can simply install the lid again and put it back on.
To clean the filter, spray filter cleaner and leave it for a while until the dirt is removed....
Then rinse off the Cleaner component with water and let dry. (I left it in the sun for about a day.)
Then, soak the filter oil to complete the process.
The color of the Fold of the Filter looks like Pink, but when washed with Cleaner, the Color:Gray.
Because the color of the oil is pinkish, it turns pink when soaked.

Semi-permanent and performance Up!
Replaced the cheap OEM Sponge with this high quality product!
The exhaust sound is a little more energetic and I feel the acceleration is improved!
Well, it's a sports filter, so performance up is a quirk.
It's probably a step up from the OEM's cheap sponges.
Maintenance will make it semi-permanent.
If you've been driving it for 10+ years I think it's a good thing you bought it!

I used it on my S1000RR and then removed it.
I don't know if it's an individual difference, but in my case, it seemed to be a mismatch with the fuel conditioner. The intake sound was brisk, but there was a lag with the Axel opening, and it felt like the fuel-air ratio was off. I learned that if you don't adjust the total mapping, it will have the opposite effect.
By the way, when I removed the OEM Filter, I found grasshoppers, dragonflies and spiders. I'll have to replace it more often.

Period of use:about 6 years or so

Was the one you received as per Image?
As you can see in the image, the color of the filter oil was clearly visible as K&N.
Was the installation difficult?
I had to put a lot of pressure on it to get it to go in.
A little bit of the supplied Grease for better adhesion was not enough to make it feel slimy.
How was your experience with it?
The performance was excellent and the air intake efficiency was much better than the OEM. I was able to feel the difference.
The car has been run for 5000km and the filter has been cleaned and reused.
Unlike OEM products, this product can be used for a long time with proper maintenance, and I think Large is a good choice.
Maintenance restores the performance of the system, so it is important to perform maintenance on a regular basis.
Also, the exhaust system was replaced. (Custom exhaust system) then Quantity:It is recommended that the Air Filter be changed to one with better air intake efficiency in Set.
It's FI, so it won't improve performance as dramatically as carburetor, but it will still make you a little happier if you do it.

After all, the performance is much more power up compared with OEM.
I recently did a thorough comparison between the wet Sponge filter and this one.
Our 2007 WR250X is not so suitable for Off driving as it can be driven Off normally. (Sucks up a lot of sand) So I changed back to the OEM Air Filter, but the Torque and Pickup are still down in all areas. Especially from 6500rpm up, I feel like I lost about 50cc of bore.
Torque up which can really be felt, Pickup rise, and the maximum speed is also quite different. Fuel consumption is also improved by about 1km per liter.
A lot of good things.
So I have already decided. Basically, I decided to k&n the MOTARD because it is used for On roadMain.
If it is only DirtSection in Course, it is no problem, and the forest road and Off running are made to run with WR250R and wr450f.
It's really obvious that the performance is improved when you replace the OEM air filter.
By the way, our WR250X is a combination of Junjo Exhaust pipe and YOSHIMURARS4JSlip-on Silencer. It is Meter correction Plus3 of Junjo ECU.
Honestly, various combinations. (FMF Q4 and Tadao PowerPipe, Delta barrel4 and DeltaTorque head pipe, FMF Q4 and DeltaTorque head pipe, Delta barrel4 and Tadao PowerPipe, YOSHIMURARS4J and Tadao PowerPipe OEMExhaust System and Tadao PowerPipe, YOSHIMURARS4J and DeltaTorque head pipe, YOSHIMURAR2 and OEMExhaust pipe) I feel it is the most powerful, sharpest pickup and best sound and ride in the world.
Yoshimura Japan recommends OEMExhaust pipe, YOSHIMURARS4J, k&nAir Filter Quantity:1 Set of 3-items is the best combination for the best performance and the best value for money. The exhaust system is made by an exhaust system craftsman and is a completely exclusive design, so the performance is excellent. I highly recommend this to all my fellow WR250X riders.

Well, I got on a roll and went out for forest road touring with WR250x from this morning, but there was an incident that worried me a little. We ran off-road with this Air Filter for a test, but as expected, dust and sand adhered to the inside of the Air Filter.
If you are going to run off-road, I think a wet air filter is the way to go.
So I will use this one to run only On road.

This is the best for OEM Exhaust pipe and YOSHIMURARS4J Exhaust System.
Today, I practiced at the test course near my home after a long time from the afternoon with my wife and children all gathered. Our 2007 WR250X and my wife's course exclusive 2009 WR250X finally became the same specification of Exhaust System, Exhaust pipe and Air Filter.
The combination of OEM Exhaust pipe and Yoshimurars4J Exhaust System and k&nAir Filter with NORMAL ECU, only co-correction with Meter, aisCancellation and Solenoid removal Flap full open fixed. SUPEREasyLightCustom.
Last month, when we measured the section time, course lap time, and maximum speed for each section, our WR250X had SP Tadao PowerPipe2 and FMFQ4. (Meterco correction is +6 with Spark arrester equipped) Spec. was.
This is not a pretty course, but it is a very tight course with lots of rugged Tarmac hairpins and tight turns on a neighbor's landowner's property. The whole week is 5km long.
We measured the difference in performance well on the grounds, which are almost as fun as those public roads.
Surprisingly, the Lap time and the section time were the same as the current OEM Exhaust pipe and Yoshimurars 4J with k&nAir Filter. (Meterco correction is best at +3 after all) was the fastest!
The sense of myself who actually drove it was also dramatically good in the sense of the sharpness of the rise to instantaneous power, the sense of torque, the goodness of the balance of the handling and the strength of the stimulus, and, after all, fun and exhilaration.
The difference was particularly noticeable in the speed at which each section was reached:the pickup accelerated sharply and the speed ride was good in proportion to the feeling of acceleration. (The longest section, Straight, is about 800m) At the highest speed measurement point, there was a difference of as much as 13 km, and on average, the others had a difference of 3 to 6 km in the speed of reaching the section.
The Tire is the same as the last time I ran the course, and the only thing I replaced was the exhaust pipe and silencer, so I can say for sure that the current Spec. is the fastest in ECUNORMAL condition.
Please try the combination of OEM Exhaust pipe and Yoshimurars4J Exhaust System with k&nAir Filter.
You can taste the best feeling.
Of course, you can still enjoy the great feeling with the OEM Air Filter!
Lastly, this Air Filter of YOSHIMURA collaboration is the original sticker of k&n, and in addition, YOSHIMURAk&n collaboration MetallicSticker is also 2Quantity!:It comes with a set. And it's cheaper than the original, which is a good thing.

Inhalation resistance too low?
It is used in CBR250Second Type Model.
The exhaust is MORIWAKI's MXSlip-on Silencer.
Originally I was using DAYTONA's ReplaceType, but I thought that if I lowered the intake resistance, the intake sound would be bigger and the power in the high rpm range would increase, so I added it.
As a result, the torque in the mid to high RPM range has increased. When I tried to run the same way as when I installed the Replace Type of DAYTONA, I felt like I had to run 500 to 1000 rpm higher. It may be better to add some intake resistance to CBR250R. Also
The intake sound is not too loud and is comparable to DAYTONA's ReplaceFilter.
Also, DAYTONA's ReplaceType Filter has a very good acceleration feel when changing shifts, but this Filter drops the RPMs immediately, and there is a slight drop in acceleration with each change, similar to the OEM Filter.
I went back to DAYTONA's ReplaceType because of the ease of riding in town and the ease of use in Winding.
That said, I'm giving it 5 stars because it's clearly a Filter replacement.
My personal conclusion is that MORIWAKIMX×DAYTONA's ReplaceFilter is the best match for CBR250RSecond Type Model.
