I have no problems at all with Circuit driving and I recommend it for its high quality!
I installed it to run Circuit on my GROM (21 yrs old). Once I tried a type that only slightly increased the NORMAL footpeg (peg), but it was not useful at all because it scraped the road surface at the corner. So I replaced them with these Rear Sets, and I am satisfied with the Large change, as they do not scrape the road surface at all, even at full bank.
The position is 150mmBack and 70mmUp, but it can be used for city driving as it has a decent amount of bank and yet the position is not too high. Of course, it is quite high compared to NORMAL, so I think it is not suitable for long touring (I have not tried it).
The price is reasonable among the products made by FOR JAPAN MODEL MANUFACTURER, but the quality is good Large change, and it was not inferior at all to the other famous manufacturer's rear sets installed on GSX-R1000 that I ride in the main. The footpeg is knurled all the way to the tip, so the boots do not slip and can be held firmly, making it easy to ride. Also, I don't know why, but GEARShift is now slightly easier to use.
Since the footpeg of GROM is fixed to the swing arm pivot by co-tightening, the Rear Maintenance Stand cannot be used when replacing the footpeg, and the engine must be jacked up or the body must be hung from above. I replaced the arm pivot by using the front stand and hanging it from the top. If you are not confident, it is better to ask the shop to replace it.
Rear master cylinder is fixed to the Rear Sets on the Right, but since its position has changed from NORMAL, the Master Cylinder Hose interferes with the Side Cover on the Right and the Side Cover cannot be installed as it is. I was not able to change the hose routing, so I had to change the hose routing. I had to cut down the side cover a little to avoid the interference because it was too much trouble to change the hose routing. It took me only 15 minutes to complete the work with a thread saw, sandpaper, and water-resistance paper finish. Please refer to the photos on this page for reference.
