Replacement Ball Bearing for the SP Takegawa Crankshaft Support on the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the ball bearing from SP Takegawa, a steel ball bearing with an inner diameter of 17mm and an outer diameter of 35mm. About the feeling of use: Smooth operation out of the packet and once in operation there was no ill effect or abnormal noise. Products to buy together: A replacement left crankcase cover gasket would also be desirable to purchase along side the ball bearing for re-assembly. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour, removal of the left engine cover is needed to access the bearing hold plate which is held in place with three bolts. Once removed simply fit the new bearing after being oiled and reverse the process for the installation. Not little difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Great costing as you are getting a quality replacement ball bearing via SP Takegawa specifically for their crankshaft support kit, why would you risk using any other bearing for this repair. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: When your SP Takegawa products require repairing there is no need to replace the entire item as Webike have many of these individual repair parts available to purchase. Refer to your original product instructions for the part numbers of individual parts. View detail
