Features

V Lock Lever & VAS (Variable Axis System)
ARAI focuses on the helmet’s impact resistance, and considers that round shells are the best. Compared to its former model, RX-55R, the shield holder is placed 24mm lower. The opening/closing axis of the shield has changed by this modification, and some changes are made to the axis part to make it open/close properly. The shield lock has also evolved. It has adopted the lock system that is used for the helmet of automobile riders. The lock will be released as you raise the lever. You just need to push down the shield to lock it. Lock, release, and opening/closing the shield could be done very smoothly.

Ventilation System
The ventilation system has greatly improved.
ARAI has been making improvements to their helmets by using a diffuser to take in the air. And this one is even more better. As you can see, it has a bigger intake port. Its inhalation efficiency on both sides has been raised by 19%. The efficiency of the center duct has been raised by 11%. It can now inhale a lot of air. You can choose half-open mode, and adjust the inhaling amount as you like. It also has raining countermeasures. The outlet side has been prolonged by 20mm, and it exhales the air effectively. The angle of the AeroFlap on the center can be adjusted, and you can arrange the shell’s stability for high-speed riding. The front part has also evolved. Although you cannot see here, there’s an air inlet called air channel at this place, and it leads to the air outlet on the rear side area. It replaces the air around your face during your ride by applying a strong negative pressure. Also, the upper inhale port sends in the air around your ears. The blow shutter can be adjusted in two positions. The half-open position is called the FFS mode, and it forcibly exhales the air. The full open condition is called the “de mist mode”, and it prevents the shield from getting clouded by applying the wind.
The ventilation mode has also been improved.

Liners
Let’s go on to the liner. It adopts the ECOPURE liner, which keeps the liner in an acidic condition just like the skin, and has deodorizing, antimicrobial, and antifouling effect. The center pad is changed to a net style, to keep your hairstyle in a good condition. The side pad is also new. You can adjust the side pad. In case you are using a communication device, you can install it by removing this pad.

Others
You can take off the shield holder by controlling the lower knob. Then you press the knob and align the marks to take off the shield easily. The installation is easy too. You just need to align the marks and open the shield. The installation/removal of the shield has become easy.

ARAI RX-7X has an advanced ventilation system, shield holder, and an liner part.
Though it is not cheap, it is a helmet that can be recommended to all riders, including track race, touring, or street riding riders, to enjoy their safe and comfortable motorcycle life.
