This CX was a motorcycle based on CHAMP which was popular for its sporty travelling manner. It featured a helmet compartment.

The CHAMP which played an active role at motor scooter races, raised its power by 0.3PS and adopted an electronic fuel gauge.

The front wheel size was 8-inch, rather small but thick. The rear wheel size was 10-inch and was thinner than the front. They moved the motorcycle in a sharp manner.

CHALY was a model that came in between CUB and DAX. It changed its torque characteristics in 1979 and improved its ride comfort.

Honda has put up a new global communication web site "Honda Moto 2017" for HONDA's large two wheel models that are scheduled to be revealed in autumn this year (2017).

It underwent a minor change and adopted a cartridge type front fork with a damping force regulating mechanism. It also added an adjusting mechanism to its rear stretching side.

It was the high performance version of the SPORTSTER series. It was designed in the motif of the HARLEY dirt track racer, XR750.
