Genuine Kitaco Exhaust Gaskets for SUPER CUB 50
These gaskets were purchase due to needing an exhaust change on the Super Cub 50 and I do not like reusing the old ones if at all possible. These Kitaco ones were reviewed well and so I decided to give these a try myself. The price for the gaskets was excellent and far better than buying the OEM ones which essentially do the same job anyway. I have used a few Kitaco parts before and they really are great quality. I did have some other parts in an order and everything arrived in 5 days from being shipped. The gaskets arrived in the Kiataco packaging and were spot on. Nice upgrade from stock wires
Since I upgraded my ignition system during an engine rebuild, I decided to get brand new spark plug wires as well. NGK appears to be the best choice, and the price from this retailer was lower than my local bike parts store. Honestly can't tell or feel a difference between these and the OEM ones,It seems like cold starting is easy. but hey, they're red and they look cool... plus they are backed by NGK, so you know the quality is solid. Genuine DID 420NZ3 Gold Spare Chain Link
I do not really use these too often as they are basically one step up from a push bike chain anyway. But, it is always good to have them in stock just in case a customer needs one. I found this chain link by just searching through the DID inventory on Webike website. It was really easy to find so you should be just fine. I ordered a few other different chain links along with this as I do like options with spare links. All were shipped together and this saved some shipping cost. My order arrived in 5 days from being shipped. The chain link came in a nice sealed packet with all that is needed to refit. You do get a not seem to get the white grease packet in this size chain but that's ok, I have a lot of these anyway. The chain link is very well made, it also is in the gold colour so nice looking too and it is also embossed with the DID logo so you know it's genuine. When I changed the Mission oil, I replaced it with a new one and used the spare, so I had to repurchase it.
If the size is right, it doesn't have to be HondaOEM, but similar products are not that cheap, so I bought the same HondaOEM Product.

Low profile parts...a blind spot.
The circumstances of the exchange,
It seems like the oil is getting low ? There is a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust system. I can understand if it is right after starting the engine in winter, but the white smoke doesn't disappear even after the engine is warmed up.

Valve stem seal
The Valve stem seal is attached to the valve guide in the engine head and prevents engine oil supplied to the head from flowing into the combustion chamber through the sliding surfaces of the valve stem and guide.

→Valve stem seal will not adhere to Valve Stem over time 。 When the oil level drops, the consumption of oil increases, resulting in poor engine performance due to lack of oil, abnormal noise, and in some cases, overheating and seizure.
White smoke and odd odors also appear, the first symptom listed. →That's what this is (laughs).
This replacement is an OEM Stem Seal.
procedure
First, remove the Dynamo cover to expose the Flywheel. Similarly, remove the side cover of the Cylinder head.
(2) Align the notch on the Crankcase with the top dead center mark (T) of the Flywheel and the 0Mark of the Camshaft Sprocket with the notch on the Cylinder head.
If it is difficult to match the tensioners, remove the bolt that is holding the tensioner tension of the camshaft chain tensioner and bleed off the hydraulic pressure.
Remove the locker arm, remove the camshaft, remove the valve spring using a valve spring compressor, remove the stem seal, and replace it with a new one. 。 After installation, use the Thickness Gauge and Tappet Adjust Wrench to return the Tappet clearance to the proper setting.
(5) Assemble the unit in the reverse order of disassembly. Finally, the amount of oil is checked and replenished before starting.
Effect after replacement
......White smoke has disappeared and the exhaust Gas smell has been eliminated!
It is not a part that comes out from the outside, so it is not an easy part to replace, but please check it when you overhaul the Engine or Cylinder head.

If you want to Bore up with Normal head, by all means.
Bore up + High Camshaft seemed to be perfect, but... ?Tappet sound is annoying.
?The RPMs are not as high as expected.
Why? I found out that the Spring of Valve is not good if it is set to "NORMAL", so I will replace it with &arrarrr;Reinforcement Type.
What is the role of Valve Spring?
Valve springs keep intake and exhaust valves constantly pressed against the valve seat of the cylinder head to prevent leakage from the combustion chamber.
The Valve is pushed down by the Cam, but when it returns, it does so with the force of the Valve Spring. The Valve must follow the movement of the Cam in order to produce a stable output.
The valve opens and closes once per cam revolution, making one round trip up to the largest lift. When the Valve Spring can no longer withstand the load (in reality, there are also problems with frequency), Surge-ing occurs and the Engine stops turning. In the worst case, the Valve or Engine will be damaged.
Surge ing When Valve does not follow Cam when the rotation of Engine is increased and Valve vibrates with unintended Timing.
Why do bore up cars need Reinforcement Springs?
If Valve Spring is NORMAL, Surge-ing is likely to occur at high rpm when using high rpm with High Camshaft. By the way, if you strengthen only the Valve Spring on the Normal cam, it only becomes resistance, but there is no Merit.

Literally, the Valve Sub Ring hardens itself. (Increases load-bearing capacity.)
Simply put, the Valve Spring Rate is increased to withstand higher loads at higher RPM.

When the Valve Spring is strengthened, the Cam pushes down the Spring, so the Engine Friction is increased. This will suppress the valve jump that tends to occur at high RPM range.

Genuine Kitaco Camshaft
After a lot of thought and help from elsewhere, the camshaft was found to be needing a replacement due to incorrect storage and so the fun began. Finding the right camshaft was pretty straightforward, there are a lot of spare parts available for these bikes which makes my life a lot easier. The price for the camshaft was a real bargain and if I had to replace from the UK parts, it would be at least double the price. So, along with a few other parts for the project it was added to the basket. My order was shipped all together via EMS and arrived in 5 days from being shipped from Webike warehouse. The box arrived in perfect condition and was filled with bubble wrap to keep everything safe. The camshaft is truly an awesome piece of machinery. This one is far beyond what I imagined to get. I have never purchased Kitaco parts before but these are definitely the way to gofor thos project. The cams are all nicely machined, the bearings are sound and pretty much a plug and play. Genuine Kitaco Complete Piston Set
Along with some other parts for this mega rebuild/project bike. The pistin was shot due to not being stored correctly and was eroded in places. Not to worry, I found the right piston set pretty easily and the price was to be honest, amazing for what you actually get. The cost of shipping was really good value too which made my life a lot simpler. I did have a few other parts ready for ordering and got them all shipied together with EMS and my order arrived in 5 days. The box my order came in was well padded and nothing got any kind of damage in transit. The piston set comes with the piston, the rings, circlips and the gudgeon pin so all you have to do is fit it and away you go. The piston is weel made and I had no issues fitting the rings which had enough flex to negotiate the piston correctly. All together, very pleased with this purchase and an absolute bargain too. Smallish giant, High Camshaft.
As for CUB, I always use High Camshaft when I do bore up. 。
So what does High Camshaft change? → High Camshaft is a component that changes the power output characteristics in a large, crude way.
What is the purpose of high camshaft?
High camshaft tuning is a relatively simple way to increase the power of the engine, with the aim of increasing engine output and RPM.
The more air the engine can take into the cylinder, the more fuel it can burn at once, and the more power it can produce. 。
However, one of the obstacles to air intake is the valve. If the valve opens less, the passage is narrower and the amount of air that can be taken in is reduced.
The high camshaft increases the valve lift to widen the passage and increase the amount of air that can be taken in.
Since more air mixture can be put into the combustion chamber than with the normal cam, a larger explosion is produced, resulting in more power and acceleration performance. 。
This is the effect of high camshaft.
Merit of High Camshaft is
(1) Power is increased because the amount of air intake increases at high rpm. 。
(2) Since the Exhaust System Intake Valve is open in the first half of the compression process, the pressure escapes, making it difficult to knock down the engine even with a high compression engine.
(3) Even if the Rev limit is increased to some extent, the maximum speed can be increased because Torque does not fall.
Demerit says.
(1) Engine performance is lower than NORMAL at low RPM.
(2) Fuel consumption deteriorates because the pre-combustion mixture is also discharged.
(3) Carbon adheres more easily to the throttle valve during engine braking because there is more blowback to the intake.
Idling becomes unstable because it becomes difficult to stabilize at very low rpm.
(5) If the valve does not follow the cam due to an increase in the amount of lift, it may be necessary to change to a Fixed Type Valve head of InnerShim etc. or Reinforcement Spring etc.
(6) The life of Spring will be shortened because the load on Valve Spring will become large.

I was impressed as if I went from a CUB practical engine to a sports type motorbike.
High camshaft can be used for normal head, so it won't break the Valve.
The power increased by Bore up can be efficiently released.

Replaced from heavily worn Plug
I had a symptom of poor cold start and ordered it with the intention of replacing it, no questions asked!
The work was completed without difficulty since it was a replacement for the same one in the OEM adopted Plug.
I removed it and compared it to a car with about 50,000 km on it, and I'm guessing that it has never been replaced.
The photo was taken without a second thought because of the amount of wear and tear.
After replacement, starting performance was clearly improved!
I reaffirmed the meaning of periodic replacement.
