Sensor
I received a package today. The sensor is the one I would need. BUT!!! The little sensor was put in a box 15 times larger and stuffed with a bunch of air bags. As a result, I paid an additional 28 euros for Delivery, on top of the 15 I paid at the beginning. And the sensor is worth €18! -------------------------------------------------- -------- I received a package today. The sensor is the one I would need. AIM!!! Sensor bolt for high-performance YOSHIMURAOil Temperature Meter
[How is it used?
I am using it with YOSHIMURA Temp meterPROGRESS1 on XJR400R.
Since this is an air-cooled 4-engine motorcycle, I thought it would be better to have a clear view of the oil temperature, so I installed this system.
I thought it would be useful in many ways to record the condition of the vehicle at that time, especially in the summer when there is an extreme power drop timing when riding all the time.
Was the one you received as per Image?
I had seen the actual product several times at the supply store, so it was as per Image.
One thing I was worried about until I bought it was the bolt system, the OEMDrain bolt was 17mm but this one was 19mm.
I wanted to buy the Sensor socket together, but there was no mention of it, so I had to do it twice.
Was the installation difficult?
In the case of XJR400R, it is easy as just replacing with OEMDrain bolt.
However, this product itself is an Aluminum Bolt, so Torque management must be done well.
The OEM drain bolt was 43 Nm, but I tightened it at 25 Nm just to be safe, and so far no leakage.
How was your experience with it?
The oil temperature is safely measured.
I checked on the Net and found that Wiring can be cut off.
It is true that it is very close to the ground near the Drain bolt, and it is likely to be hit by stones, etc., but I feel that this is not the case.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Nothing.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
The performance etc. is perfect, but I dislike the anodized color.
I think there are many vehicles that do not MATCH as they are quite noticeable in Red.
Black Anodizedetc. I would like to see other colors available.
Other items that would be helpful
Opinions and requests to Manufacturer:.
The XJR400R replaces the Drain bolt, while the XJR1300 replaces the Oil galleryBolt.
I would like to see the manufacturer provide the reason why the position of the sensor bolt differs depending on the model of the car.

Yoshimura Pro-gress2 temperature sensors TYPE C & D
this is a must have accessory for the Yoshimura Pro-gress2 multimeter. The Engine Temperature Sensor and the Water cooland temperature sensor. I purchased the Type C & D for my Honda Africa Twin XRV650 so that i can have more accurate readings. Very well built and high quality product from Yoshimura. View detail

Post-use impressions
I changed from the old YOSHIMURA type to this one
Visibility is pretty good
It is used for Z1? The appearance also blends in well with old NAKED
The finish of the root part of the wiring is also considerably improved from the previous Type and the feeling of security is increased It is

I'd rather have a sober color
Yoshimura's Multi-temp meter on the Kawasaki KZ1000J I use it with Progress2
The Sensor itself is perfectly fine, but I personally don't like RedAnodized None
I think it looks shabby when the color fades and if it stands out, it doesn't match the mood of the old car From
It may be difficult to develop a number of colors, but the safe silver anodized or Black Anodized would seem to increase the appeal of the product if you could choose
Or, you can include some kind of Rubber cap that covers the spoofs (someone did that, didn't they?) and I'd appreciate it if you would
