Hand guard for Rebel 1100
Installed on Rebel 1100 for wind protection in winter.
The type is fixed at two points, the handlebar end and the mirror, so there is almost no shaking due to wind pressure even when running at high speeds.
It may be an individual difference since it is an overseas product, but if no tension is applied, it will be slightly forward and down against the grips.
When installing, since it is somewhat flexible, I temporarily tightened it in two places and fine-tuned the handlebar end side first before tightening it again.
The width of the handlebar after installation is about 3~4cm, which may be due to the fact that the plastic molding is shared with other models, and the extension attached to the end of the handlebar is about 3~4cm.:Pair (for Left and Right) Together, the overall Handlebar width will be about 6~8cm wider.
The windproofing effect is not bad at all. It is a world of difference from the condition without it.
However, the distance from the Grip to the Guard is longer, so the windproof effect is not as good as it could be. As the name suggests, the original purpose of the product is to provide sufficient Clearance in the event of a collision. "Hand guard." I think it is a good idea. Especially for DCT cars, the Left Side will be very scuffed because there is no clutch lever.
Personally, I like the look of the handlebar because it feels more integrated with the handlebar than the Mirror co-tightened product.

I'm satisfied
I liked the design and bought it.
It seems to be weak as a knuckle guard, but it improves the effectiveness of the grip heater considerably.
I think it is so-so as a windbreak, but I didn't realize how effective it would be if the wind didn't hit the Grip directly.
It is an expensive product for a Knuckle guard, but I was very satisfied with it.
