Rear Sprocket and Chain replacement!
What made you decide to buy?
It has been 4 years since the last replacement, so we are replacing the Front and Rear Sprocket and Chain. The mileage is about 13,000 km. I thought it was too early to replace them, but I decided to replace all of them with new ones.
[How was the installation?
Replacement is easier than on the ZX-6R, since the front sprocket can be easily removed by loosening the M6 size bolt that holds the front sprocket in place on the fixing plate. When installing the front sprocket, be careful not to overtorque the M6 size bolt that holds the fixing plate mounting bolt. Torque is 12N/m.
How was your experience with it?
The Front was set to 16T, the same as last time. This time, Rear was changed to 38T with a slight emphasis on acceleration! The reduction ratio is 2.375 and the number of chain links is 118. (GCraft's 6cmLong Swing ArmSpec.)
