*Please prepare separately brake hoses, crush washers, Brembo banjo bolts and brake fluid.
*Brake Hose Precautions .
If you have changed to a back step, the brake hose length will be too short, so we recommend that you use a brake hose that is 20-30mm shorter than the normal length.
[Adjustment Method]
If the brake hose is short (not enough), change the position of the bleeder bolt for the air bleeder and stop the banjo bolt at this position.
If the brake hose is too long (too much), replace the bleeder bolt for the air release with a banjo bolt in this position.
*Caliper and wheel compatibility.
There is a problem in the case of stock wheels. External wheels can be installed without any problem.
Zephyr 1100 stock wheels:- (can be installed by shaving the backside of the caliper)
Zephyr 1100 external wheels:0 (can be installed without problems)
The diameter of the rear brake disc of the Zephyr 1100 is originally Φ240. However, we will deliver the caliper support for Φ250 disc.
The reason for this is to prevent significant interference between the caliper body and the wheel or disc adapter.
*About brake pad processing.
The Φ240 disc can be used, but the brake pads need to be cut. If you do not want to cut the pads, we recommend you to change to Φ250 disc.
The upper side of the pad will be left over when installing the support for Φ250 on a Φ240 disc. If the Φ240 disc is used without modification, the pad modification shown below is required.
Remove the pads from the caliper and cut off the white area marked on the upper side of the pad (approx. 5mm wide). This will prevent the pads from interfering with each other when they wear out.
*Other colors and products may be included in the image.
