Gold Outer Model
Gold Outer Model
[Deskripsi]
Inverted front forks that have been used in MotoGP and many other races.
The FGRT200 series is a feedback model of that top quality.
Its exceptional rigidity and extreme low friction have been updated to an even higher level.
The 30mm cartridge is based on the racing FGK cartridge, and the caliper bracket is integrated, for both potential and good looks.
■Main features and advantages of FGRT200 series front forks
・30mm piston cartridge system
・Independent damping of the rebound side and pressure side (NIX system) improves switching performance
・All adjustments are integrated into the new top cap design
・Improved setting speed
・Further weight reduction of the caliper bracket with integrated bottom parts
・Optimizing weight distribution from top to end
・Black outer model is available for some models.
■Caliper bracket
Bottom part machined from forged aluminum.
The caliper support and bottom parts are integrated in the same way as the latest racing forks to achieve high rigidity and light weight.
The extreme appearance, which has been further refined to eliminate extravagance, can be summed up in one word, beautiful.
■Top Cap
The top caps are a significant evolution from the previous version.
The top cap, designed in the same way as the racing cartridge, provides independent left and right damping force adjustment and spring preload, all of which are adjustable.
■Outer tube & fin design
Beautiful machine finish, standard gold anodized outer tube.
The wall thickness is optimized to achieve a high level of rigidity and light weight.
The "fin" design is adopted to achieve both high rigidity and light weight in the same way as the racing fork FGR.
■Inner tube
Inner tube with Φ43 titanium coated surface.
Careful surface treatment involving several processes has resulted in extremely low friction loss.
In addition, the surface hardness is twice as high as that of chrome coating.
■NIX system creates a variety of benefits through its one-way system
The greatest feature of NIX is that it has the same structure on both sides, and each side is responsible for the generation of damping force on the extension side and the compression side.
The only difference is that the shim stacks, pistons, check valves, and cylinder tube holes that produce the damping force are upside down.
The inversion arrangement determines the character of the extensional/pressure side.
On the compression stroke, damping occurs when oil passes through the piston and shim stack on the "COMP" side.
On the "REB" side, the damping force is not generated because it exits through a 1-way check valve and cylinder tube hole.
During the extension stroke, the oil flow on the "COMP" side and the "REB" side is completely opposite to the above as shown in the figure on the right.
For the front forks of a motorcycle the left and right forks are connected by upper brackets, lower brackets and the axle shaft.
Therefore, the left and right front forks always repeat the same stroke motion, and the contraction/extension strokes can be covered by one side each of the NIX-structured front forks.
